Carmen Maris, Consultant

Carmen brings more than four years of experience in projects financed with European Funds.  Before joining our team Carmen worked as Project Development and Assessment Consultant with The Regional Development Agency, an organization that focuses on regional development, including: (i) assisting the local companies and local public authorities in accessing EU funding & (ii) management of EU money.  Carmen was involved in more than 50 projects financed with European Funds, especially from the PHARE Program.

During her position, Carmen gained experience in working with EU structures that are involved in providing funding on various sectors.  She is familiar with procedures of implementing EU projects, public acquisitions, PRAG, compiling applications, including drafting documents such as applications and feasibilities studies.  In addition, Carmen was member of various teams that performed studies with respect to Romania’s pre-accession process and intergovernmental capital transfer.  Her experience enables her to assist in preparation of successful applications for EU funding.  

Carmen is an accredited Real Estate Valuator, as an ANEVAR member (The National Association of Romanian Valuators).  She holds a Degree in Economic International Transactions, from Babes Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca.
